Wedding Guest Edition: Seafoam Green Lace Dress

I am missing last Sunday’s wedding in Lancaster, Pennsylvania! This is the “dusty sage” (seafoam green) lace dress I wore as a wedding guest. I think that an understated colored lace dress is always a safe bet for a wedding. I love the sexy low back on this one, the spaghetti straps, and the mock halter front. I paired the look with neutral (blush) block-heel sandals with pearl embellishment (trend alert!). I love how these colors blended together. I completed the look with a bright red lip and dangly classic pearl drop earrings.

Only 4 more weddings to go this year!

Royal Wedding in Windsor (Part 1)

Last weekend I traveled to Windsor, UK for the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! It was so surreal to see the massive castle, and there was such a special light-hearted energy in the air. My friend lives in Windsor, so she hosted a fabulous hat (fascinator) party with lots of her friends. For the occasion, I wore a silk blush pink (trend alert!) hand-pleated Tibi dress (I love all things pleats) with a high neckline and a waist tie. I chose this dress because the attire for the party was “long summery dress”. I own tons of dresses, but not many of them are long! I also liked the slight waterfall hem on this dress- the back is a little bit longer than the front. I paired the look with a black netted and feathered fascinator. Being an American, it was super fun to pretend to be British for a day by dressing up! I kept the look simple with diamond studs and my trusty black block-heel sandals.

“Spring” Into Love: Evening Drinks

As a follow up to my previous post, today’s post features the second part of NYC Relationship Coach Natalia De Oliveira and my “‘Spring’ Into Love” collaboration for first date looks. While the last post focused on a more casual brunch day date look, this look is something that I might wear for an evening dinner or drinks date. I paired a simple blush lace blouse with my favorite repeat-offender Cynthia Rowley cropped pants and peep toe pumps to create a more dressy look.

This look is dressy and chic, but not over the top. I can think of many different restaurants, rooftops and lounges that I would feel comfortable showing up to in the below outfit. I kept my jewelry, hair and makeup simple, too.

Blush Pink

Blush pink is in this spring. It is soft, feminine and pretty. Due to the fact that it is a neutral, it is easily accessorized with great jewelry or shoes. It also looks sophisticated with other neutrals- I particularly like blush pink with gray or beige.

Below are some of my favorite blush pink pieces for the spring. (I really love the jumpsuit!)
