I have been living in this Miguelina maxi dress all summer! I love the blue and white colors, the polka dot pattern, the intricate lace, and the subtle (and whimsical) dragonfly embroidery. It’s cotton which makes it very comfortable, and it is easy to dress up or down with the accessories. I recently packed this dress for a trip to Montana, and it was perfect for Saturday night. It is sold out at Net-A-Porter but is still available at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman!
I will admit that this look is more appropriate for Aspen or Park City, but it has still been chilly! I wore this look a few weeks ago in NYC. I love the long ivory sweater with the detachable fur collar and all black everything else. The bag is by one of my favorite designers, Anine Bing, and I have had my eye on it for a few years! I paired this look with sky high booties and accessorized with classy with gold jewelry.
I had fun back in my old stomping grounds with my best pal, Nicky!
Two of my favorite trends of the season (trend alert!): heart earrings and lace up booties! These pearl embellished earrings are from H&M and are so fun and Valentine’s Day appropriate! The coat is a classic from Sandro, and I adore these croc-embossed lace up booties with a chunky heel. Perfect for one of my final West Village strolls 🙂
Hi readers! As many of you know, my blog’s email subscription feature was not working for the past few months, so while I continued to post, none of you received an email. I am rounding up a few of the posts in case you missed them! Links to shop the looks are in the actual posts, not this round-up post 🙂
This round-up includes several looks from holiday parties back in December- feels like ages ago! It also includes a charity gala, my company’s Great Gatsby themed holiday party, a NYE wedding look, and a photo shoot for a collaboration with ALLY shoes.
I am so excited to share a holiday shoe collaboration post I did with Abbey Liebman and Bettye shoes! These black suede pumps have a bejeweled and pearl embellished heel (trend alert), and because they have a chunkier heel they are pretty comfortable to walk around in. You can dress them up and dress them down. I paired the heels with one of my favorite feminine, elegant, and sophisticated black and white dresses. I love the pleats on the dress, very fun to twirl around in! Black and white is a classic color combination that I always feel comfortable in. I completed the look with pearl drop earrings, which subtly match the pumps. This outfit is perfect for a work holiday party, or any other polished party 🙂
All photography was taken by the extremely talented Alex Van! These are my favorite photos she took. Message me if you would like to work with her!
The only good thing about the 4th of July being over (arguably my favorite holiday, after Thanksgiving!) is that a lot of stores have amazing sales. I have never been a huge ZARA shopper, but there is one right near my gym so….
This weekend I popped in and it was a zoo. Some amazing, trendy pieces at very reasonable prices. I am about to head out on vacation to Panama, so I picked up a few beach cover ups. I also picked up a few dresses, because I need more of those (said no one ever).
If you need anything and have the time, enjoy the sale!
Festival fever is definitely in the air! Even though I haven’t been able to attend any festivals this year (yet!) I have been majorly inspired by festival fashion blowing up my social media accounts. Festival fashion. It’s a thing!
I’ve picked out some of my favorite festival pieces, from head to toe, in the images below. From flower crowns and headpieces to metallic tattoo jewelry, crochet or tie-dye, festival fashion is pretty fabulous. Although I am beyond obsessed with the Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals below, realistically they would get ruined in the inevitable mud-pits and your feet would be stomped on. (Plus, tan lines, people). Booties may be more practical.

I am excited to announce a fun collaboration I am doing with NYC Relationship Coach Natalia De Oliveira. We have teamed up to do a two part post on spring fashion for dates! This first post focuses on a daytime (brunch) look, while the next post will be what I would wear to evening drinks for a first date.
Brunch is my favorite meal of the day, and in New York it’s a staple meal. Saturday/Sunday noon – 3pm brunch is pretty standard! For a first date, brunch may be a great option for a more casual dress style day date.
In this first spring look below, I paired a pink and white flowy print top with boyfriend jeans (my favorite) and some fun new gold pointy-toe oxfords that I have been dying to wear all winter. They remind me of nymph or fairy shoes! They are so fun and definitely make a statement. Also, the gold oxfords pick up the gold buttons on the blouse and the gold jewelry I accessorized with. This look would be a good first date look for brunch because it is stylish, yet easy. Bring on those Mimosas!
Stay tuned for the next post, too- a more sophisticated evening drinks “‘Spring’ Into Love” look!
Is it Saturday yet?

SoHo is going to have some retail space for lease, that’s for sure! It’s hard to believe that C. Wonder, Piperlime, and now Kate Spade Saturday have all announced closings in January. From what I have read and heard, these retailers were struggling and the holiday sales were their last hope for survival. It’s like the plague has hit Spring Street within a 5 block radius!
Before it closes its doors, below are my top 5 picks from Kate Spade Saturday. I am especially loving the “Kickaround Pants”. I feel like I would wear those way too often, and at inappropriate times.
At least we still have Kate Spade.
This has been a brutal month for some retailers. First, C. Wonder announced it was closing. Four days ago, Piperlime announced the same. Both of these retailers had amazing merchandise, in my opinion. Piperlime actually has a lone brick and mortar store right here in SoHo. It is definitely on my “SoHo Treasures” list, and I will be very sad to see it go. In the next few weeks leading to its closing, there are sure to be some great sales. Today, there was 25% off all full priced items. I am sure the sales will keep coming, and getting better. Below are a few of my favorite picks:
Don’t forget, you can use your GAP, Old Navy, and Banana Republic giftcards when shopping at Piperlime!
