Fall Neutrals

I hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving holiday! I spent mine in Chicago with family. I’ve been meaning to do a post on mixing and matching some of my favorite fall neutrals, here with army green, maroon, and dove gray. This rabbit fur vest was an investment piece I purchased last fall. It’s so warm and the deep color pairs nicely with lots of different neutrals. The jersey wrap dress is from one of my favorite designers, Haute Hippie. It’s so cozy and has an open back (hence it needs to be paired with a vest or jacket). The suede, dove gray booties with gold chunky heels are one my favorite things to pull out at the first signs of fall.

New Yorkers don’t always wear black!

Leather & Floral Ruffles

Another edgy downtown look with Tom Naples Photography! Tom and I had so much fun exploring the Lower East Side. We were very inspired by all of the NYC graffiti and the grittiness of the city. Stemming from the first part of our series, I kept my Maje leather jacket. In some of the photographs you can really see the beautiful shoulder stitching. This time I paired the jacket with a tiered floral ruffle dress, and my trusty nude strappy sandals. It’s a little too cold now to wear these sandals! I like the contrast of the tough leather with the feminine dress. To accessorize, I switched things up with my accessory of choice this fall: a choker. I like the delicate gold dangle on the front of this one. Per usual, my ear jackets made the cut.

Enjoy the photographs, I like that you can get a glimpse into our downtown adventure…Tom and I were both obsessed with the heart wall. West 4th Street does Delancey Street!
